I thought they did a very good job. They did it all in a day, there were no problems, it has since handled two storms, and the office managed everything very well. Plus, I was in the hospital the day they did the work. Everything went as I hoped it would with no intervention from me.

I was in quite a pickle with my roof leaking because of negligent work done by previous carpenters. GotoRoofing did a tear off and put on an underlayment to get me through the winter and then did my roof installation and skylight installation in spring (2022). They were super friendly, professional, flexible, and skilled. I am super happy with the work and their employees. Everyone I spoke to was genuine and I trust them.

I greatly appreciated the sales approach. There was no high pressure sales technique. They explained the options clearly and let me pick what was best for my budget. The job was completed efficiently and clean up was thorough. Thank you!

The team at goto roofing provided a competitive quote and a timeline to perform the work and meet both as planned. The team was here for one day tore off the roof made some minor repairs and installed the new roof. It looks great and when they left the entire area around the house was picked up without a trace.

The Gutter crew showed up and installed the new gutters and gutter toppers ad quoted. everything looks and works great.

I would suggest GOTO Roofing to anyone that asked me about the service. .

GoTo Roofing installed a roof and skylights at our house. The communication from the company was great, and their team was very customer-service oriented. They were able to install our roof in one day, and the workers were friendly, professional and did a great job.

We chose GoTo Roofing and Siding after contacting several other companies in the area, and felt most comfortable entrusting Scott and his team with our major renovation project. Other than our windows which had already been replaced a few years ago, GoTo completely transformed the exterior of our home from top to bottom.

First, the roofing crew did a great job replacing our roof and installing two new skylights all in one day. Next, the siding team started their work tearing out our old 1964 siding and replacing it with new siding and trim. We were so impressed with the professionalism, dedication, honesty, and attention to detail from Mickey, the crew leader, and his entire team. They were respectful of our schedules and did their best to minimize the noise level during my live remote classes. They worked so well together as a team and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each work day. We absolutely love the new look of our house and wholeheartedly recommend GoTo Roofing and Siding!

They did a complete tear-off and install and also added some vents for my bathroom fans. Everything looks great. They even came back at my request to remove an old satellite dish that was on my chimney. They clearly care about your experience. I definitely recommend checking them out. Their prices are very competitive.

As new homeowners, they made us feel comfortable and understand the process by explaining “the why” behind everything they proposed. We were never made to feel unintelligent or inexperienced. Other companies we met with tried to upsell or push one product. GoTo took the time to explain all products and solutions available and the pros/cons of each. Importantly, they were understanding and patient with all our questions and concerns. We could not recommend GoTo more highly, especially for young or first time homeowners. Their installation team was thorough, clean, and efficient. We have a 5 month old at home, and GoTo was able to complete the installation with enough time for us to do bedtime. Without a doubt we will be using GoTo for all our future needs.

Roof on home was over 23 years, pole barn a little less. Had slight leak after heavy snow fall followed by quick melting a few times. The only reason I didn’t give a full five stars is because my work was just done and I always wait for an extended period of time and then give an update review along with a final rating.

Did a great job on my wind damaged roof. They were the most costly estimate, but they matched the price of my middle estimate, so we moved forward. Another company we used 3 years ago to repair another storm damaged area scratched up our gutters and damaged some landscaping. GoTo was very careful not damage anything and did a good job cleaning up after themselves. Would definitely recommend them and not hesitate to ask them to match another estimate.

Our roof had long been in need of replacing. We’d had it done in the past, but got scammed by a fly-by-night company that evaporated (and probably set up shop somewhere else) after doing enough work to make it look good, but not enough to actually fix the roof.
When we had the money to try again, we were looking for a metal roof and selected GoTo Roofing. There aren’t a lot of companies that do metal roofs in our area but GoTo was on top of it from day one. First, they called us back in a timely manner (more of a hurdle than you’d think), then had their sales staff on-site to explain what they could do and how much it would cost.
It came in a little over the estimate, but that was expected. The previous company left a tremendous mess. Even with the extra work though, GoTo’s crew got the job done only a little behind schedule and with solid, quality work.
I should share a little mishap from the process. We had a rainstorm during the construction and the roof leaked. I called GoTo roofing and the owner was out that night. He patched the hole in the roof and completely re-did the ceiling where the water had damaged it. Sometimes things happen. The real measure of a company is the lengths they go to to make it right again.

GoTo Roofing was timely, professional, and trustworthy. We had an incident of a roofer breaking through our kitchen ceiling on accident (4’x5′ hole) and GoTo was thorough in setting up dry wallers to come the next day to fix it. They also gave us a discount and were very professional about the whole thing. They also put siding around our windows for us and did that quickly and with minimal disruption. Always very kind and friendly when we asked questions or when they gave us updates.

Over all, my project turned out great! I would only do one thing differently. I would make a list of everything that I want done (specially if it was a larger project) and make sure we are both on the same page and that it doesn’t get forgotten. There was a slight miscommunication with what I wanted and what they were doing, but in the end they made it right. And that is what’s important.

Not much I can say that hasn’t already been mentioned. They have a punctual, fast, and communicative team that installed a roof that has drastically improved our attic ventilation. They left our property even cleaner than it was before. We’ve had several storms since installation and no leaks. Highly recommended.

We had an unexpected need for a complete roof tear off and replacement in December 2017. After getting 3 different quotes, we chose GoToRoofing, and couldn’t be happier. They were efficient, great to work with, and the one day the weather was good they got the job done. They did an excellent job with the roof, the chimney flashing, soffit venting and clean up. Recently Go To Roofing, Inc. put a new roof off my house also installed new gutters. They came on the hottest day in July, tore off the old roof, replaced some wood, and put on the new roof all in one day. The roof looks great and I am very pleased.
They were so diligent in keeping the yard and pavers clean of
debris, there was no evidence that they had even been there,
except the new good looking roof of course! Also the entire staff
was pleasant to be around. All my questions were answered from the estimate to completion.

We experienced Storm damage earlier this year. Go To Roofing was able to quickly assess the damage, add protective layer to ensure no incremental damage. They were also able to get quote out quickly to the insurance company so we could get to scheduling the repair. Once cleared for repair the Go To Roofing team was fast, professional, did high quality work, and left the site clean. I’d recommend them again, and again.

I had a roof leak near where the chimney meets the roof and needed it fixed before the winter weather set in. A neighbor recommended GoTo Roofing to me. Within a week of initial contact, they had done an inspection and fixed the leak! Everyone was very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. The price was very reasonable too.

Very happy with the overall experience. Austin was able to come out, inspect the damage, and provide a quote within several days of my first call to the company. They were one of the only roofing repair companies I could find that quoted work for damaged soffit and fascia. The repair work looks good and blends in with the adjacent spot. Their estimate experience was nice and we did t feel pressured to use them. They also explained the difference between asphalt shingles compared to fiberglass and metal. On the day of installation they had a crew of 8 guys that worked their tails off. There was a miscommunication in having our car port shingled as well. I made one phone call and a couple days later it was completed. Overall i felt like they cared about my project even though it wasn’t a very big project. I would recommend Erie to anyone looking for a new roof.

I think this is my second review ever. These guys made enough of an impression for me to write up some nice words about them.

We’ve had terrible experiences with contractors, so we’ve become extremely picky. My childhood friend jokes that I’ve never met one I like. Truth in humor.

We had two quotes for the work; which included a new garage roof and gable feature installation. One of the companies wouldn’t even quote the gable feature portion of the installation because it was rather involved. In fact, nobody had been been able to perform that job until Go To Roofing. Needless to say, the other company wasn’t considered for the work.

Please note that we already had the gable features on hand. As far as I know, Go To doesn’t provide them.

Go To provided a quote and contract. We had some issues with the contract. First, we didn’t want premium materials for the garage roof. We just wanted bare minimum since the roof was leaking and we plan to replace the entire garage eventually. Next, there was some wording in the fine print I didn’t agree with regarding liability for damage to property. The rep was embarrassed about that wording and said it had been removed some time ago. He wasn’t sure why that wording was in my version of the contract. Within a day, we had a new quote that corrected all of the issues. The price was right, so they got the contract.

Regarding the actual work, it was phenomenal. They put down tarps on both sides of the garage to collect all the debris. Once the tearoff was done, one of the guys branched off and got started on the gables. He did exactly what he was supposed to do. Like I said, it was involved. And believe me, I checked on him frequently to make sure it was being done correctly. They had to remove soffit and fascia, brace the overhang with 2X6s, replace the soffit and fascia, and ultimately make sure the fasteners actually attached the now hidden bracing. Additionally, they found a bit of fascia that had come loose at the back of the house all the way at the peak that I hadn’t noticed and fixed it for free. Oh and they got out their leaf blower and cleaned my driveway.

I bought them pizza for lunch and tipped the bleep out of them when the job was done. Fantastic experience start to finish. We highly recommend them.

GoTo Roofing was very prompt in scheduling our serious roofing issues.
I was not able to be there while they were working or was I able to inspect the finished job until a couple of weeks later. I was impressed with the workmanship! The chimney, vents and even the original lightning rods were blended and sealed perfectly! In addition, a piece of trim siding that had blown off the peak of the house was replaced-I would have never been able to get up there! I was thrilled at their kindness, replacing it even though it was not part of their job!

I highly recommend this company! The people at GoTo Roofing are first class. This was my first time buying a roof (or any big home project purchase) and I was a little nervous because of all the bad things I’ve heard about some companies out there who bully customers into buying overpriced things or taking people’s money and never being heard from again. My worries were eased from my first encounter. The gal I talked to on the phone to book my appointment answered all my questions and explained what I could expect to happen. When the sales guy came to my house, he went up on my roof and took pictures to show me exactly what the problems were and explained all the different options I had. GoTo Roofing, Inc. replaced my roof and installed a solar-powered attic exhaust fan. The Project Manager inspected my roof at the time of consultation, provided me with numerous shingle samples to consider, outlined the details of the job, and drafted a proposal on the same day. After accepting the proposal, the job was scheduled within one week. On the day of the roof replacement, the crew of 12 arrived before 8am and completed the job before 3pm. They were very mindful of my landscaping and did a magnetic sweep of the property to remove as many of the roofing nails as possible from the lawn and driveway. I highly recommend GoTo Roofing, Inc. and would definitely use them again.

We had a contract with another roofer who strung us along fo a year and finally stopped taking our calls. We called Go to roofing and they professionally did everything they promised. They know roofing, so technically they are the best. Plus, they are good business men, so they do what they say when they say.

We were looking to replace a few windows and convert a door and window to a sliding glass door. Went through four different companies for quotes and styles and picked GoTo Roofing. Not only was the quality of the windows comparable to the “National Companies ” but the cost was within our budget. Scottie G answered all of our questions and concerns and kept us informed on the process. All that were replaced were custom windows so by the time the windows were ready for installation it was December. We have struggled with a leak on our roof, located near our chimney, for years. We had multiple contractors come out over the years with varying areas of specialization, and paid way too much, without success. We finally had GoTo Roofing come out to take a look and reviewed all we had already tried and work already done by other contractors. They took on the job, scheduled with us promptly and worked in a professional and timely manner. They finally fixed the roof and no more leak! They are amazing! They even charged us less than the previous contractor but actually corrected the problem. Excellent experience right from the very start. I researched, met and received quotes from many roof installation companies. Out of all that, Scott (Owner of GoTo) was extremely knowledgeable in all competing products and on their installation. He took the time to discuss and answer all of my questions without any hard sales tactics — Just honest and upfront… the decision was mine. These guys were excellent, ethical and went the extra mile to deal with a few situations which they simply could have ignored. Everything appears to have been done well and with a minimum of inconvenience to us.

After getting many other estimates from other “major” roofing companies in our area, we ultimately decided to go with GoTo Roofing for our complete roof replacement and repairing and upgrading our attic ventilation.

Our house has larger eaves (soffits) and a low slope. We previously had leaks and knew that the roof need to be replaced due to its age and condition. When we had an insulation company come blow in more insulation, we learned that the previous owners have covered the soffits and gable vents, so our old roof had literally no ventilation.

Knowing all of this, we provided this information to all of the contractors we reached out to for estimates. GoTo Roofing was the only company willing to do the extra work to properly ventilate our roof. This meant cutting open all the soffits, installing baffles and adding box vents instead of ridge vents. Every other contractor was more interested in offering a 1-Day Guarantee and would not entertain opening the soffits (which our roof was designed to have). Personally, I wanted it done right…not fast.

After meeting with all these different roofing companies, I called GoTo Roofing to come out for a second visit to further discuss their process and what I would be getting if we hired them. They answered all my questions with great honesty and knowledge. Originally when I got my estimate, we had planned on replacing our gutters as well, but when I mentioned we were planning on replacing our siding and windows in the near future, GoTo Roofing recommended that we keep our current gutters and wait to replace them when we do the siding and windows. They recommended this because the gutters would have to be taken off to replace the siding anyways. Not sure many companies would be that honest.

On installation day, they arrived when they said they would and set-up/work began immediately. By mid morning they were removing the lower sheets of roof decking so they could open up all the soffits. At this point they noticed a good amount of mold on the underside of the roof decking. We knew this was a possibility due to our previous ventilation issues. Upon further inspection, they realized that the best course of action was to replace all the decking on our upper roof. Before doing so, they met with me, showed me photos of the moldy decking and we discussed the issue at hand. I agreed we had to replace all the decking and work continued. Doing this added a significant amount of time an effort to the job, but they were willing to do it because it was the right thing to do. They also discovered that our bathroom vents were venting into the attic and not out the roof (compounding the mold issue). They addressed this as well and fixed it so that the bathroom fans vented out the roof.

All in all, I couldn’t be happier with the service, installation process, communication, attention to detail and overall product that we received. They paid attention to all the details, found some issues and fixed them and made sure we were happy along the whole process. I would highly recommend GoTo Roofing for your roofing needs.

Go-to-Roofing did a wonderful job. It took me a while to select my color and brand and they were helpful the entire process — even providing a list of previous jobs so I could drive by and check out the colors and styles on actual jobs before I committed.

Steve, our sales rep, was very easy to talk to and we appreciated his thorough, easy to understand explanation of how to address the repair of our roof. the team that came to the house worked very hard. I had a roof replaced. The entire experience was good. Everyone was friendly. The job was done really well and the roof looks good. My property was clean after the job. I like that the company offered different types of shingles from asphalt to a type that had rubber in it. So there was a choice of the type which also allowed made for a range of pricing options. The pricing was very good.

GoToRoof did a 2 layer complete tear off. finding 3 full sheets of plywood that needed to be replaced, and a water leak that I did not know about. The roof team went way above making sure that our roof was sound and will last for another 25 years. Clean up was very good leaving the yard as clean as it was when they arrived. GoToRoof has there own truck for hauling away the old roof. The whole job was complete the same day, Due to our water leak other parts needed to be replaced, GoToRoof does have many other friends in the buisiness. They were able to have a HVAC service guy from another company come out and make a needed necessary repair before they could correctly and completely finish the roof. I am extremely appreciative of all the time and work they put into my roof and fixing items that were outside the aspect of the roof. We have had several rain storms, everything is nice and dry, (As I expected!!). I can’t speak highly enough of this whole process and team.

GoTo is a great local company! I chose them because the provided a comprehensive and highly competitive quote without trickery and pressure. As I waited for the weather to improve long enough for the project to be done, Michigan went on full quarantine. This was my 2nd time having GO TO ROOFING come out. The first time was last winter. Had a big leak of water in my sunroom ( due to the contractor who had reroofed my house last September failed to do a proper repair on one area of the roof). GO TO came out within 24 hours. In 30 degree weather, they did the repair and it’s been solid ever since. They came out today and repaired the fascia and gutter on my front porch. They should be writing the books and teaching classes on how to run a business. Not only are they skilled in their trade, they are awesome with the business end of things. Our GoTo experience was great. Scottie G was there for us every step of the way, and was great to get things set up as soon as the Stay Home order was relaxed. (Pandemics, am I right?) When I was searching for a reliable, honest, and affordable company to inspect and replace my 20-year old roof that had begun leaking during a few of last season’s heavy storms, a friend in the construction business recommended I contact Go To Roofing. Steve responded promptly to my request for a consultation and worked around my schedule to come to my home, met with me to fully understand what I wanted, and did an inspection while explaining everything to me. A few days later, he returned with the contract proposal and again explained each detail included while walking around the house to point out exactly why and where the extra vents, soffits, etc. would be installed and answered all my questions. Through each step of the process, communication was prompt and polite. The work crew was skilful and professional yet friendly and again happily responded to questions. They worked together efficiently while showing respect toward people and property. They went above and beyond the first day as a heavy storm was approaching to ensure that the necessary new boards for the roof deck were installed, the whole roof protected and the yard cleared of debris before they would leave in spite of my encouragement for them to go and be safe. The storm hit fifteen minutes after their departure. In the last year since buying our first home, my husband and I have experienced a lot of hassles, bad work and broken promises by various contractors but not GoTo Roofing! They not only made good on their promises, they were at our house when they said they’d be, the workers were kind and knowledgeable and they were just a dream to work with! I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Recommended by a neighbor. Had roof damage from a storm causing holes and leakage in one area of the house. The company responded quickly and was out in less than 24 hours to temporarily fix the holes, at no cost, until the insurance adjuster could take a look. (The only reason for the 3 stars.) They also told me there was extensive damage, recommending an entire roof replacement indicating that maybe it would be covered under insurance. Due to inclement weather and power outages we were finally able to schedule an appointment to permanently fix the holes. On the day they were scheduled to show up I called inquiring where they were as they were 20 minutes late. The person told me they were at another job which required more work and man power than anticipated so they would be by within 30 minutes or so. Later, received a text indicating they would be coming later that evening or the following morning to finish up on my roof. Early next morning received a text with an apology that they would have to cancel as they had other work scheduled, resulting in rescheduling my roof repairs on the weekend. It was only after I told them if they weren’t capable of getting my work completed to let me know and I would contact another company that they came out within an hour and completed the job, also telling me the roof wouldn’t need a full replacement until 2 years or so. Something I found interesting as they initially told me there was extensive damage and recommended a full roof replacement. The insurance adjuster only quoted for the holes, even telling me it probably wasn’t necessary for a full roof replacement. This before the repairs were permanently fixed. After they initially came out I was impressed and convinced to pay for a full roof replacement. However after the runaround I got plus what I feel is dishonest practices of indicating extensive damage to not needing a full replacement for 2 years, I won’t be using this company in the future.

I am very pleased with the roof they installed! They got it done when they said they would and cleaned up perfectly when finished. No staples left behind! They were even careful with my landscaping. Would definitely recommend this local company and use again! Thank you goto roofing!

I was able to pick the shingle quality and color that best fit my needs, and I’m very happy with the result. I have known the owner for YEARS… I finally got my insurance person out here mid Sept. My bathroom skylight was leaking horribly.. I got a hold of go to Roofing and he sent some guys out to tarp while we waited on insurance, and open availability for them to do it.. I’m a general contractor and when I need roofing done for a customer I always call Go To Roofing. They do things correctly and never cut corners. I’ve used them multiple times for roofing and gutters. I have always been impressed and never have to worry about their professionalism or quality of work. I even had them replace my parents roof.

We had asbestos roofing and they came and took care of it and replaced it within a day. The roof looks great.

Very efficient, Clean and fast

Steve was very friendly, helpful, and patient with us.

A woodpecker had been making a hole right between the top of the siding and the eave line on the side of my house. Alden did a great job of attaching some flashing cards with caulk to cover up the hole and the rest of the exposed wood. He was a pleasure to work with, addressed my questions, and did a thorough job.

Not the least expensive but completed my large roof at a difficult to access location in a day as promised. High quality is all aspects and cleaned up everything and damaged nothing. Also met my scheduled date. Also followed up with an excellent gutter replacement. Great job!

GoTo Roofing did a fantastic job re-roofing our barn with metal. The color was exactly what we were hoping for. The entire job was finished in less than a week and the job site was cleaned up as the work progressed. Parts of the roof had to be repaired and GoTo Roofing did the unexpected repairs without any problems. I will definitely use GoTo Roofing in the future. Even the Building Inspector was impressed with the great work that GoTo Roofing did.
